Bainbridge Island Chamber of Commerce is accepting vendor applications for the 2nd Annual Sportsman Family Fun Fair.
The Chamber of Commerce and the businesses located at the Sportsman Park Business Complex are teaming up to present a fun-filled day for families and local residents on Saturday August 7, from 12 noon-4 p.m.
WHAT: An outdoor afternoon community fair in Sportsman Business Park.
WHERE/WHEN: Sportsman Business Park off Sportsman Club Road (across from Sakai School) from 12 noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, August 7, 2010.
AUDIENCE: The show is aimed at attracting locals and area families to a community free fun fair. Free activities for kids will include face painting, DJ music, bouncy house(s), fire engine and more. Families and attendees will enjoy the street fair feel of the event with booths offering local artists, food, information about local businesses, and more. Admission to the public will be free. At the inaugural fair last summer, we have more than 500 people attend.
ADVERTISING: The event will be advertised to the community through the B.I. Chamber, advertisements in the B.I. Review and other local papers, local community social networks, and press releases will be sent to area papers.
FORMAT: Participating businesses, artists, vendors will be provided with 10' x 10' spaces in the parking areas in the business park. Exhibitors are responsible for their own booths, displays, etc.
COST: Local and area companies: $50 for each 10x10 booth.
GOAL: Provide area businesses, artists and others an opportunity to expose their products, services, knowledge and experience to the community at-large in a one forum/marketplace.
