Don't Miss Bainbridge Island's Biggest Party !
You're invited to attend and participate in the Grand Old Fourth of July Parade and Community Celebration on Sunday, July 4th.
Now in its 43rd Year, the Grand Old Fourth includes a Pancake Breakfast, all-day Street Fair, Foot races (benefiting Bainbridge Youth Services), a Classic Car Show, Historic Baseball Game, Music, Food, Entertainment, a Beer Garden, and plenty of Family Fun - all capped off by the "Best Small Town Parade in America." The mile-long parade begins at 1 p.m. sharp!
Back by popular demand and community support are FIREWORKS over Eagle Harbor, starting after 10 PM.
FREE SHUTTLE BUSSES - 9:30 AM to 6 PM - will leave every 20 minutes for downtown from these three parking areas:
First Baptist Church Ace Hardware Kitsap Bank
The Grand Old Fourth is produced and presented by the Chamber of Commerce, with the help of dozens of volunteers and a handful of loyal sponsoring businesses.
The Street Fair is located in the Town & Country parking lot, on Bjune and Brien streets and in Waterfront Park. It features more than 100 arts and crafts, food, non-profit and information booths. The 10 x 10 booth spaces range from $60 to $310. The Street Fair is held from 9 a.m to 5 p.m. The Pancake Breakfast, benefiting the Bainbridge High School Boosters Club, begins at 7 a.m.
The Parade begins at 1 p.m. As in years past, we expect thousands of people to line the one-mile route along Madison Avenue and Winslow Way to watch this wonderful small-town event unfold. Parade applications are just $25 for non-profits and neighborhood groups; $35 for commercial enterprises and/or politicians.
The Classic Car Show will again be held on the parking lots behind American Marine Bank, Chase Bank and other nearby lots. Last year, more than 80 vehicles participated and we expect a similar number this year. Applications are $20 per car.
Music and entertainment will be at the Winslow Mall and Watefront Park.
